About usNkambako youth in action is an Non Governmental Organisation formed by a group of young people of Nkambako Village. Our main goal is to develop, strengthen and encourage service delivery in the community. Our aim is to include all the stakeholders from various sectors such as; local government, traditional leaders and private sectors.We are located in Nkambako village which is part of Nwamitwa Tribal Authourity. We are striving to see change in our community and therefore our motto is 'We are the change we want'Vision : To empower people in terms of education, and ensure that our youth get / access important information. By this we will Reduce crime, teenage pregnancy and encourage people to stand for their future Mission : To use resources that are available to us to ensure that the youth have access to information that will help them in furthering their education and developing their skills. Our plan is to create activities that will keep young people away from crime. These include sports tournaments, talent shows and other recreational activities.Organizing health education workshops whereby various professionals will give awareness on issues like teenage pregnancy, alcohol and drug abuse, STI's and HIV and AIDS. N.Y.A objectives 1. To break the gap between leaders and youth of Nkambako 2. To empower youth of nkambako with knowledge when it comes to education and health information i.e. carrier guidance, health education e.g protection from STI’s and HIV 3. To create environment that will take youth out of the streets and crime 4. To tackle unemployment by starting project and establishing relationship with organizations which are responsible for providing knowledge and working skills e.g. department of labor, 5. Providing platform for youth that they showcase their talents in the form of competitions of art, culture, sports ect 6. Fundraising and holding charity events to help the needy in our community e.g orphans, people with disabilities and also opening a trust fund to help our metric students to return application forms. 7. Ensure quality education by monitoring that school children get education which is relevant to modern world 8. To make Nkambako a better place for the future generation 9. Encourage and help youth with information to start they own business 10. Working with our community leaders to ensure to cater the needs of the community 11. Ensure that the community’s finances( government budget) are properly managed and used according to the needs of the community
